Odesk banned the provider's IP address. Should I be worried?

Let me briefly describe the situation. An RSS reader QuiteRSS is installed on the computer. Feeds with new projects on oDesk in various categories have been added to subscriptions. The goal is to quickly learn about new projects in order to be the first or second to leave an application if something worthwhile comes across.
For a long time everything worked like clockwork. The settings were updated every minute. Recently, out of stupidity, I decided to reduce the update interval to 15 seconds :) Everything worked for a couple more days. But now, for the second day, oDesk does not allow access to the site.

The provider's IP address is static. Through an American VPN, I go to the exchange without any problems. However, it is, to put it mildly, inconvenient. Plus, there are fears that oDesk might not like the fact that Ukraine is indicated in my profile, and I constantly log in from an American IP.
Questions for the community:

  1. Has anyone experienced similar blocking by oDesk?
  2. Is it possible to hope that the blocking is temporary, let's say for a week?
  3. Or is it worth writing to support, confess and ask them to unblock the IP address?

Thanks to all who responded!
Update 3: The problem was solved after correspondence with support. I did not have to contact the provider with a request to change the IP address. All in all, it took 4 days. Spent this time on a VPN.
Update 2: To the credit of oDesk support, they answered me quite quickly (a little over an hour). So far, without much specifics, with the usual advice like "try a different browser and clean your cookies."
Update: Live Chat didn't get a response. Wrote to the usual oDesk support. Unsubscribe later about the results.

@Jayson

I would have turned to the support first of all if I had not found a similar case in Google. And then, while you wait, I would write here.

I would have banned you permanently) But in the case - I would write to support honestly and ask to be unblocked.
If you behave well, you can simply ask your ISP for a new IP.

I could change my ip by writing to the provider a request for a temporary blocking of the Internet. And then to unlock.
