Upwork app - keylogger?

Good day!
The Upwork app reads keystrokes and sends the information to a remote server, i.e. it can be safely called a keylogger.
QUESTIONS TO THE AUDIENCE: Is anyone paranoid about this? How did you solve the problem? Are there any reports on disassembly?
Upwork support claims that they do not collect data about what was entered. but only the number of keystrokes.

Your passwords can also get into screenshots if they are written down somewhere and you copy them during work. ))

Hopefully, in this way they just check your activity and complicate the hacking of their program - that's all.
