During the day I work at my main job, at night I write my big project.
At one time I made a “mistake” - I explained to my wife that I could get good money for my big project. Then, when I wanted to leave him, my wife with a rolling pin explained to me that it was better not to do this ... She wants a two-room apartment.
So now I plow both at work and at home under the supervision of my wife.
Hence the moral: tell your wives less about your work - you will sleep better.

Now, in parallel with the main full-time work, I am writing a project for freelance, it’s hard, I regret that I took it, only thoughts of reward in the form of experience and money motivate me :)

Tried to work two full-time jobs for a while.
Technically, there should have been enough time.
After a month and a half, I realized that a) I am wildly tired and do not have time to rest b) because of this, productivity drops sharply, I get dumber and make stupid mistakes.
After that, he quit his job.
Of course, I'm still working on my project.

I switched completely to freelancing, after I began to earn more in my free time than on my main job, and a sufficient base of regular customers appeared. =)

Until I got married, I pulled two jobs, just as you say, the main one in the office and in the evening / weekends at home, but now I already work on one, only in the office.

I'm still pulling, but I'm going to throw one =) Most likely I'll stay at home.

I worked in the office + on a project + took additional work - then I noticed that I began to work less on personal projects, now I’ll think three times before taking on a part-time job.

It seems to me that we should strive for one job. It is better to be a good worker in one job than to work twice as bad, but in two jobs. It is impossible to work well at two serious jobs at the same time - a person is weak. Even if it seems that it works, after a few months, performance drops rapidly.
And in one interesting job, with due enthusiasm, you can fully express yourself. Only it is necessary that there be such work that for twice the best results they would pay twice as much. Or, as an option, look for a job right away, the salary of which satisfies your financial needs.
There is another limitation - a person can simultaneously deal with a small number of projects (there are numbers from 3 to 7). Considering that there are often parallel tasks at work, and household and family affairs are also projects, then a person has enough “RAM” at one job back to back. If you pull two at once, it is impossible to keep all the current problems in your head without additional efforts.

I mainly work in the office, my second job is an instructor in Linux courses, I work at a second job, because I constantly need to be in good shape, students who are greedy for knowledge throw questions, and so some things are forgotten.
By the way, he is married, of course, at first, his wife was hard to endure my absence every other day at home. But then she calmed down.

I have been working like this for 8 years, I somehow got used to the fact that, in general, I can’t stop thinking about it even on vacation, at least I write down my thoughts and ideas.

I've been doing this for about half a year. While I'm pulling I'm really thinking about quitting my main job. part-time work brings twice as much income. But still scary :)

I used to take part-time jobs, but after the case when a car was damaged near the place of work, and the repair came out 15 times more expensive than hack work, my wife said we won’t deal with such nonsense anymore (she went with me). Honestly - like a mountain from the shoulders, out of mind - and I do not regret it. It is better to have a well-paid main job, well, or create one. :)

A few years ago, I combined full-time studies, full-time office work and part-time work in the evenings. Enough for six months, then quit a part-time job, and soon graduated from the institute. Now only the main job and rare part-time jobs in the evenings / nights.
PS Be careful with processing, watch your health.

Full-time study + work in technical support from the first year
In the third year, a part-time job as a programmer + freelancing on trifles was added
Graduated from the institute - a full-time programmer + a lot of freelance
Vacations as such have not been for a long time (if I leave one job on vacation, I switch to another), but I feel tired does not heat up, usually there is enough time off to “reboot” (although there is work there too)

it all started when I was still finishing school ...
I got a job first as an operator, then as an administrator in an Internet cafe and studied at the same time.
Then he entered the university, there was a break for half a year, but his soul could not stand the peace, he always thought up some classes for himself and realized that it would be easier to find a job in parallel - he got a job as an administrator in a small office.
At the third year I got involved in the project as a tester, without leaving my studies and work.
In the fourth year, I met my wife))) (at that time I did not know that it would be so))) ) and the schedule was as follows:
from 7-8 in the morning to 15:00 work and part-time jobs, from 16:00 to 19/21:00 study (depending on the number of couples in DAY EDUCATION and if there were no couples by correspondence (in the second year I entered in parallel to another faculty at the same university), if there was a markup, then the couples started with me from 12 to the stop), and after running to visit and up to 22-23, then home.
… (many variations of a workaholic’s life)…
Now my main job is during the day + a couple of hours on an additional job + online, which I mostly combine with my main job, earlier also in the evenings all the way… but a month and a half ago I got a “stick” from my wife, I had to at least partially reconsider the schedule if possible.
I’m trying to LIVE, but so far I’m not really succeeding ... I plan to give up evening work, although the money is good, but now what will happen after NG ...
the desire to switch to a clean online and “be listed” somewhere so that the experience drips, whatever one may say, a pension will not hurt))))
ps yesterday management diagnosed me with a manic-depressive syndrome. (I come to work in 40-60 minutes, I leave either on time or 30-40 minutes later and don’t even ask what I’m doing, I don’t know myself)))))
