How many rates are spent on average to take on a project?

I understand that the question is not entirely correct, but how many bets are usually spent on a project? Upwork gives 50 bets per month - it seems to me that this is very little. I'm right? For example, the same freelancer.com gives them almost 2 times more (in a paid account). Although according to my subjective observations, the competition is somewhat lower for upwork.

Give 60 connections, these are 30 applications.
When I started a couple of months ago, out of 10 applications, there were about 4-5 interviews, of which 2 were chosen as a performer, it turns out that 5-6 projects can be taken in a month.
My profile was blank with no portfolio.

I have been working on both exchanges for the first month.
First I went to freelancer.com because I thought it was easier to live there. As a result, I spent about 15 applications to get the first project with which I am dissatisfied. In addition, he is dissatisfied with support, a nasty interface, and software. You have to pay for every sneeze. The search for a project itself is similar to the carpet boarding of a copypaste cover letter. It also strains a huge number of Indians.
As a result, I went to Upwork, where the process of applying for a project is more individual, you can’t get off with a simple copy-paste. On the fifth application, I received an order with which I am very pleased.
The site jff.name helped me a lot in my endeavors . I advise you to read and run away from a freelancer.

Upwork gives 30 cheap bids or 15 bids for expensive projects.
Someone spends one bet to get someone ten. Calculate easily go through the jobs where you hired a freelancer and see the number of applications and divide by the number of jobs

From a clean account on the first day I sent all the applications. Since then, I have never sent applications, I have been working with customers from the first day for a couple of months
