How are things with freelancing for 1C developers?

Good afternoon!
That's how much I read about freelancing everywhere they recommend or already write in programming languages \u200b\u200boriented to foreign clients and foreign freelance exchanges. I understand that this is all popular (especially in monetary terms) and many work and live over the hill (Thailand, etc.). But I have never seen feedback from developers on 1C, who also live over the hill and freelance, what are your opportunities and earnings?
I am especially interested in 1C freelance and life somewhere in the Asian part of the continent.
Thank you

Freelancing in the field of 1C for 15 years already.
Everything is very good.
And a lot of money (about 200-300 thousand rubles a month in Novosibirsk)
, including remotely.
But the main cash cream is only through direct contact with customers.
With clients who have been working with me for 5-10 years, I also work remotely.
With each new one you need to come and get acquainted, and at least for the first time come in person.
It is also recommended to show your face from time to time (say, once every six months) - as soon as they see me in the office, a hail of orders comes immediately.
But, large permanent orders are perfectly done remotely.

I am not a 1C specialist, but I have acquaintances.
All work on 1C imho can be conditionally divided into 2 types:
1) Arrive at the office and update the configuration / explain what is like what - obviously it will not work remotely.
2) Development to order - but for development to order, you need to understand the specifics of a particular enterprise (both accounting and technical) very well, and this is practically not given to freelance.
+ a security issue - few people will give remote access to databases to a person from outside.

I am especially interested in 1C freelance and life somewhere in the Asian part of the continent.

It is in the Asian (trans-Ural) part of Russia.
Very well. The demand is such that I can not cope, customers are constantly waiting for their turn. Because of this, no one has left yet, although they tried. But there is no choice among normal competitors.
I have a friend who makes very good freelancing with foreign clients (as he says).
Well, here I am earning the same amount for 1C

It is quite possible if you write code cleanly. And another person meets with the customer, takes the job and distributes the tasks.

They are doing very well.
Worked for 20 years in this field.
It seems that 90% of 1C is freelancing.

I’ve been thinking about this for a very long time, but so far I don’t see the opportunity to switch only to remote work.
There are always clients to whom you need to come, show, tell, teach, explain...

In any specialty, you can make good money on freelancing. There would be a desire and time to work.
