Two computers with Win 7 do not connect via rdp
One is Home Extended, the other is Maximum. When connecting from Home to Maximum, the message “Initializing a remote connection” is visible and a standard error appears a little later. Doctor Web turned off, the browser turned off, it still does not work. What could be the problem?
PS: Remark: you can’t access a computer with Home Advanced via rdp, but from it you can enter via rdp to max

The fact that home extended does not support remote desktop connection.
Check the box next to My Computer Properties -> Remote Sessions -> Allow remote access to this computer. If the user is not a member of the administrators group, then in the same place - Select remote users.
If all this has already been done, then check with telnet, as described above. If the telnet falls off on a timeout, then dig in the firewall. There is even a separate rule for RDP already written. You need to turn it on.
Firewall, a disabled service, or RDP connections are prohibited (which, in principle, are the same thing).
do telnet ip_computer_where_connect 3389
see if there is a connection at all (you first need to install the telnet client from adding Windows components to the Control Panel - Programs and Features)
, depending on the answer to this question (whether there is a connection), we will decide further.
And what is the "standard error"?
Control Panel > Windows Firewall > Allow a program or feature to run through Windows Firewall > check "Remote Desktop Control"
try the patched rdpclip
www.missingremote.com/guide/how-enable-concurrent-sessions-windows-7-service-pack-1-rtm
at the
same time it will be possible to connect via rdp without knocking out the current session :)
the archive with the patch is really not available via the link , but available if you google W7-SP1-RTM-RDP-v4.zip
