Windows 2008 R2 and Windows 8 - how to connect via rdp?
Good afternoon, I ask for your help in solving the problem, and the problem is as follows. There is a server on the Win server 2008 R2 system and there is a machine with Windows 8 on it, I can’t connect from Win server 2008 to Windows 8 via rdp, when I use the windows 8 dns name, it says that the remote computer cannot be authenticated. And if I enter the ip address of the windows 8 machine, then the connection is established and I calmly pass.
I checked the name on the dns servers, it accurately points to the ip of the windows 8 machine, cleared the dns cache, in the rdp settings indicated to connect without confirmation, but the problem still remained.
Where to dig? Why does the dns name not want to connect? Maybe it's the politicians? Please help, thanks in advance.
ps with windows 7 the same problem. Although all the necessary updates are worth it.

I solved the problem, did the following on a Windows 8 machine, went to group policies:
“Computer Configuration” -> “Administrative Templates” -> “Windows Components” -> “Remote Desktop Session Host” -> “Security” and there I enabled the Require use of specific security layer for remote connections , specified RDP and everything worked. It's only strange why 8 did not receive group policies that are installed on the local network.
