TV as monitor via ethernet

I wanted to connect the TV to the computer at home with a second monitor in order to be able to watch movies and play games on the big screen. Samsung TV but not Smart TV. Supports DLNA, connected to home network via cable.
I picked up VLC and HomeMediaServer, set it up and was surprised. Video on the TV comes with a delay of 10-15 seconds. It's not that you can't play games, it's even difficult to point the mouse.
How would you reduce latency with the least amount of effort?

No way. DLNA is not designed for this, and keeps a buffer in case the channel suddenly drops for a while.
And in general, the inscription DLNA on the TV means that it has a network port and you may be able to watch some insignificant percentage of films on it with significant restrictions.

Probably "captain", but why not just connect the TV "as a second monitor"? Through hdmi? :)
It seems to me that you are overcomplicating or I did not understand the question!

As I understand it, you need such a piece of iron:
