Truecrypt, created volumes slow down the hard one, what could be the matter?
The hard drive worked a couple of days ago normally, read / write speed, load, etc. created a couple of volumes of 5 GB each, and the hard drive immediately began to slow down, Windows takes longer to load, the red indicator on the case does not go out almost, and almost during any operation associated with the hard drive, the load is high , used to create, the hard one also slowed down, then demolished the volumes and worked normally, all this even if the volumes are not connected but just lie, now there is no other hard one at hand to throw off the volumes and check without them, throwing out information from them is also not an option, can tc thus affect the hard ? Or still look for a different reason?

Since the specified processor does not support the AES-NI instructions used for hardware acceleration of tc (in any case, veracrypt uses them), then, most likely, the performance of the system rests not on the hard, but on the processor.
