Time source?

The situation is as follows: there is a certain closed corporate network, it is required to synchronize the time in the network. Domain controllers are not suitable for this, for reasons related to multiprocessing (time is not accurate). Windows servers spit on this inaccuracy, and unix servers simply do not synchronize :)
Therefore, some kind of piece of iron is required, which will act as a source of accurate time. Who can suggest something about this? Who is using what?
Now a PC with an MCRPCI card is used , but this is somehow not enterprise-like :)
PS: It is impossible to synchronize from the Internet, the reason is a closed corporate network .

I don't know, of course, how the security service will react to this, but what about arduino + GPS Shield + Ethernet Shield?

Have you considered standalone exact time servers? Those. a piece of iron installed in 1U or just a box that gives you NTP / SNTP at the output without any connection to the Internet. I think with them there will be much less problems with certification and security.

maybe I'm wrong, correct me, why you can't open ntp port 123 through a firewall to the outside world or put a machine that will synchronize with the outside and also act as a time server and also only to it and only port 123 ...

Google has several offers for "NTP hardware" at once:
www.symmetricom.com/timeservers/
www.ntp-zeit.de/ntp-timeserver-en.htm

I found it all, but did not try anything. Therefore, I asked what, in your opinion, seems better, maybe they used something and could advise. So to speak, first-hand information.
