Thunderbolt/PCI-E adapter + Palit GeForce GTX 650 + MacbookPro = profit?

Hello!
There is an adapter from Thunderbolt to PCI-E, there is a video card that does not require external power, there is a MacbookPro with Intel HD3000. Do I understand correctly that such a scheme will allow you to play more or less new games?
Thanks in advance!

Maybe I misunderstood the question or missed a detail.
In general, such a scheme is workable and will allow you to play more or less modern games. Here I have already answered a similar question ( What are micro-gaming PC solutions ). I gave a link to how-to there and described some details in the comments.
You will need to install Windows (7 or 8). Drivers are put the most common. The image can be displayed both on the internal display (with a slight drop in performance) and on the external one. I have an Intel HD4000 (Air 2012) and a GTX660. Quite calmly I played Bioshock Infinite at 1080p (and almost maximum settings).
And you still need a power supply. Your video card does not require additional power (a separate 6-pin connector), but it still needs power.
