Thin client on Raspberry Pi3B. FHD video, music, browsing via RDP inside the local area - will it work?
Thinking about moving the main PC to a server cabinet, but need to have something on the desktop for day to day tasks. Of the available - only raspberries. Because on the main computer there will be ESXi \ PROXMOX with a video card thrown inside (maybe I will remove the video card from the machine altogether), then one of the virtual machines will be win10, behind which I would like to browse / watch movies. FHD movies, but often blurry/remixes, ie. with a large stream - if I run into a network on a raspberry - I can change the quality to a more gentle one without any problems.
Games are not interested, films with a non-standard frame rate per second, too.
If you install the default Raspbian (or DietPI), and connect to a virtual machine with win10 via RDP - will it be comfortable? Will there be lags?
In general, the adequacy of the operation of such a bundle for everyday tasks is of interest. I also saw the sharpened OS of thin clients for raspberries - I don’t consider them.
