A fairly common occurrence for legal tax minimization.
In large outsourcing companies, this is generally a regular occurrence.
In yours - read the contract, read reviews about the company itself. Specify what you will receive in your hands after deducting everything who will deal with your financial statements and what will happen to your individual entrepreneur if you want to leave the company - will their accountant close it.
Contract work implies, on the one hand, a more flexible approach to work, including vacation not under an employment agreement but under a contract, sick leave not under the TKRF but under an agreement (and this is not always bad). On the other hand, you need to carefully read the contract and understand that if anything, it will be much more difficult to defend your rights, so pay attention to the size of the company and reviews about it.
Only in one case - if the company is Western, it pays in foreign currency and a lot.
It seems that legally this is the only more or less uncomplicated option for a Canadian company.
It is obviously very difficult to hire a staff, even if they do not have a representative office in the Russian Federation. Residency, taxes, work permits, everything...
Self-employment - if you get a regular salary, there is a risk that the state will pay attention.
It remains an individual entrepreneur ...
There, indeed, sick leave and vacation pay are not provided. For payment, see for yourself - how they offer to evaluate the service, what to consider as a conditional unit.
It is easier to terminate such an agreement if there are no special conditions in the text itself. If the position involves financial responsibility, then it is allowed to shake off more from an individual entrepreneur than from a mercenary. Up to all property.
This is a question for you, not for the toaster. Decide for yourself if it's worth it.
IP
Disadvantages:
Taxes must be deducted
from the offer Accounting and account maintenance costs must be deducted from the offer
There are risks of blocking the account by the bank under foreign economic activity or 115FZ.
Dismissal one day, which is interesting in the opposite direction may not work in accordance with the contract.
There are no social guarantees, such as pensions, seniority, compulsory medical insurance, social insurance, etc.
Sick leave and vacation as agreed, but this will not be fixed in the contract, which gives some just for maneuver to the employer.
As a result, an offer to an individual entrepreneur should be much tastier than an offer to the state, usually at least 2 times.
This is common, but easier for the self-employed than for individual entrepreneurs. This will not give you big pluses, the difference in taxes will be received not by you, but by the employer. From a possible crap - calls to the tax for interrogation in case of checking the employer. Still independent payment of taxes and other things, although it is not difficult. And the absence of any kind of social guarantees laid down for the employee (although it’s already tight with them).
"Software development" - because the tax authorities will understand this type of activity.
The big question is whether the vacancy of a tester is worth it, but, as mentioned above, when working for Western companies with a large salary in foreign currency, this is quite an option.
You need to understand that officially neither vacation nor sick leave is allowed for individual entrepreneurs. In some companies, this is stipulated in words (since it is extremely difficult to prescribe this in the contract) and is taken into account unofficially, i.e., conditionally, you are closed by an act for more hours than you have worked. Same with sick leave. Check before checkout.
For a Western company, indeed, this is actually the only legal option for hiring. Again, in this case, talk about whether the costs of maintaining an IP (taxes, insurance premiums, currency control costs) will be reimbursed.
Look at the patent in your region, it may be more profitable than the STS of 6%, but the exchange rate difference from the sale of the currency will still go to the STS. All, if not most, remote workers abroad work like that
It is not very clear what the question is
Are you satisfied with taxes or not, you need to ask you and not us
