The screen of the MacBook Pro 13 with a touchbar flickers in 2018. Have you solved the problem?
Actually, subject.
The laptop is only six months old, I took a new one. Not very often I open and close it, but still, in a day, a dozen plus or minus cycles will be typed. I use it carefully - I don’t drop it, I don’t throw it, I don’t let anyone use it.
Of the problems - at a random moment some kind of flickering appears, but glitches with the screen. It started about 2-3 months ago, now it happens brighter and longer in time.
If you open-close, to see if it repeats - no, it does not repeat. There is no backlight, like in a cinema from below.
Question. Has anyone else experienced this with this particular generation? Is this the same Flexgate problem, or is it a special case for me?

I do not have such a problem, although the laptop will be more ill. With flex, they had to decide - there was an elongation of 2mm. It looks like a special case. Since the laptop is not a year old - take it for a guarantee - let them check it and say what and how
I started flickering after a year and a half, prox 13' 17th.
More and more ...
Now I don’t close it anymore, maybe I’ll have to look for the opening angle for a long time so that it doesn’t flicker. It blinks for a very long time, and when you drive on the touchpad, it completely goes out. I was sure that the loop, but on the screen of the password everything is chotka. As soon as you log in and rush ...
You open the lid to 30 degrees - everything is ok, more - immediately Satan is something ...
In general guys. I suffered with this for about six months and lived on firefox.
But, lo and behold, I solved this issue, even after a reboot, this problem did not appear anymore. WHAT TO DO:
Go to Settings -> Accessibility -> Monitor. And just a little bit completely shift the slider "Display Contrast" to the right.
This fixes the problem and the image does not change))
Before that, I tried to climb through the safari settings and try all the experimental functions, I tried to chop off "find the cursor"
that
I just did not try, and here is the solution found)))
Called Apple yesterday. They recommended, for starters, to reinstall the operating system. Half a day - the flight is normal.
I have the same problem, my laptop is a little over 9 months old.
Reinstalling the OS didn’t help and other recommendations of the service, there are still a few recommendations left to make and then I’ll definitely take it to the service, I think that the problem is in the cable, which was allegedly replaced by the firmware from the middle of 2018. Eugene, how do you express it? I have a strip across the entire width of the screen, often black, always different in height, sometimes not even even. Up to 5-10 times a day. I started to notice this a month or two ago, when the appearances became more frequent, only then I turned to the service.
Exactly the same problem. Not resolved at all. I gave it to the service, they did not diagnose it. OS reinstall didn't help. This is not a train. Not software. What kind of hardware jamb is this? In short, help, who did what?
Tell me someone solved the issue?
An important case:
Somehow the laptop was on the table and music with powerful bass was playing nearby (very much!). And the flickering was regular every second, hence the conclusion that this is either a display cable or some kind of chip on the board (let's say the legs are held on snot).
I have flickering 1 time per day, does not interfere. I'm afraid that for example the beech will fall apart to hell and the guarantee will end.
Has anyone contacted the officials?
