Should I upgrade to Catalina 10.15?

Hello!
Please advise, is it worth updating my old man: Macbook Pro Mid 2012 to Catalina 10.15?
At the moment it's High Sierra 10.13.6 I'm afraid to catch lags.
Anyone tested?

Is something not working for you? Then why update?
In general, I try not to update fresh MacOS until they catch childhood sores.

I didn’t test it on a macbook of the 12th year, everything is fine with me, on the beta since August.

Updated.
There are artifacts in the dock, the coolers are constantly spinning (but the computer is barely warm).
Constantly asks for permission with or without.
We messed up again with fonts.
There are jambs in the interface.
There are jambs with the new Music application (even called the support).
I'm thinking of rolling back from the time machine to highierra.
A little hack to think about

The update disables support for 32-bit applications.
