Do it yourself

The laptop, where the breakdown is most likely, the symptoms are:

Vostro 1510, after 5 years, the monitor began to glitch:
1) suddenly without touching the laptop, the image may disappear (not like de-energizing it at all - it's dark, but it looks like it's showing, but the black color is, or something, barely characteristic glow)
2) the screen in an extinguished hundredth can be from a few seconds to several days
3) an external monitor connected via VGA - it works
4) I wore it in repair (at that moment I still thought that the monitor would never work) - they said the lamp burned out, repair $170. — I refused the repair.

I suspect that if the lamp burns out, then this is forever, that is, there can be no sudden switching on of the monitor. I suspect that the failure is in the loop.

What will the habrocommunity advise if the approximate price of a new laptop with such characteristics is roughly 350-450 ??? Maybe you should go to another workshop?

Yes, this is your lamp. You can buy a whole bunch in China for a penny and change it yourself. The process will look something like this .

Several times I had to solder the cable that runs from the inverter to the lamp.
Or in the worst case, the inverter itself.
