The HDD LED is always on when I install Ubuntu. Why?
The problem is this.
I have 1 hard drive on my PC. It used to work without any jumpers, but at one fine moment all the data on us disappeared and the partitions fell off. It was a long time ago, but then I managed to restore its operation by installing a jumper, although I lost the data.
Now I decided to install Ubuntu, but I have a problem. During installation, the HDD indicator starts to burn constantly and everything freezes, it seems to me that the problem is related to that case, then I lost the data.
Besides that, I'm wondering why the HDD stopped working without a jumper, as it did before.
