hdd testing?
good people, tell me what is the best way to check hdd
I have a bunch of disks that I connect via a sata / idea adapter --> usb
how can I check their status, the presence of bad sectors, to make sure that they can store information, and that they have it - are they safe? preferably under wine, without reboot and entering DOS, because not all programs see disks connected via usb
test ashamp cdd control 2, but it raises suspicions - the disk that was probably killed was diagnosed as 100% live
victoria under Windows does not work

On USB it is generally difficult to diagnose something normally. After all, you should always start with viewing SMART.
