Test automation for iOS/Android applications, would you recommend?

Good day gentlemen and ladies.
There was an interest to automate testing of one application for both ios and android. I searched, asked Google for the number of tools, both paid and free, so many that I was a little confused in the choice and analysis of certain libraries, frameworks, applications, etc.
I would like to ask - which of the means, in your opinion, is optimal, convenient, universal and useful?
