Hello. This is a huge apple issue. I'll tell you briefly what's wrong and how to fix it.
With almost all connected monitors, you will have garbled fonts for good resolutions. For normal operation, only 21.5 or 27 inch are suitable. The fact is that, unlike Windows, Mac OS does not scale fonts and shows "as is". And if your monitor is not the same size as the options compatible with the manufacturer (we are talking about 3 models from LG: 2 on the apple website and one on the LG office), then there will be issues with fonts, especially vertical lines. You can play with HiDPI, but that's not the point of the problem.
