What is this netbiosd process on Mac?
Hello,
In System Monitor on a MacBook, I opened the "network" section and saw the netbiosd process ( user _netbios ). Can anyone explain quite simply what it is and whether I need to get rid of it?
Thanks in advance!

No need to open anything!
You don't have to get rid of anything!
It's not a processor!
Netbiosd is required to interact with netbios networks and resources. Quite simply, it allows you to work in Windows networks and access network resources - computers, balls, printers, etc.
