The computer does not see some flash drives, why?

Axis, win serv 2003 p2 x64, MCE antivirus, the fact is that some flash drives have recently ceased to be detected on this PC, it definitely doesn’t find 3 things on my PC, that is, they work fine on others, it sees the rest of the flash drives, but On these writes a removable SD drive and does not open. I tried through total commander, usb security disk, it doesn't help... what could be the matter?

Boot from LiveSD and check there. If they don’t work in another system, then it’s not destiny. I had the same case. The flash drive did not work only in my computer - it was fine in all others, all other flash drives also worked for me. But specifically one in my computer - no.

Perhaps the problem is in the USB controller drivers, or in the physical port. Tried in all ports, through a hub?
You need to know the background to be more precise.

Actually, there are many options. But briefly - insert a USB flash drive (provided that it is readable on another PC); enter BIOS; disable SecureBoot; it should appear in the list of available devices. If it is not there, do the same with the readable one. This way you will determine the faulty port or the problem of a particular flash drive.
