I have a grandmother who loves cleanliness and a grandfather who is a roboticist. I wanted to give them a robot vacuum cleaner, because it would be both symbolic and practical.
The question arose about which robot vacuum cleaner to take. There are iRobots, which seem to be considered the best in this area, but also, Samsung's fancy robot vacuum cleaners have recently appeared on the market. I myself am very far from these devices, I never even held them in my hands, not that I tested; so I would like to know the opinions of the Khabrovites, from which manufacturer it is better to take the device. Who has the pros and cons? Or in this area any model from iRobot will be better than any competitor? Because that's what I've heard. I would like to hear the opinions of people with experience of using it.

Our iRobot, the youngest model, was bought in St. Petersburg for a little less than 10 thousand.
After 4-5 months, the wheels began to jam (they turned it by hand and everything is fine so far).
In fact, there is not much sense in it, after cleaning all things from the floor and carpet, you can vacuum it with your big brother pretty quickly and nothing gets in the way under your feet :)

We went, looked at what our friends had, watched the presentation of irobot in the store. We bought an inexpensive Kavity for a promotion. There are no problems, it cleans well. In general, you need to look at what tasks it is needed for, if the apartment is small 2-3 rooms, then I see no reason to overpay for a powerful battery. In my opinion, Irobot and Samsung are overpriced. Good price-quality ratio is Korean manufacturers, they also have service centers, and there are more functions for the same money: Kavity, Iclebo are also good. The main thing is not to buy Chinese junk. It is not known then what to do with it if it breaks ...

It is better not to mess with Chinese junk. Yourself is more expensive. I have a one-room apartment, and there were no special requirements. The main thing: reliability and quality of cleaning. So I bought myself a domestic robot Sititek robo-sos LR-450, let's hope that it will work for a long time. And the price is acceptable and the functions are many useful.
