If finances allow for work, then take a MacBook, you won't regret it

Will it be enough to use it in different areas of work?
Not enough, Windows XP will not be installed on it and there is no COM port, so it is bad for auto-diagnostics.

Either mobility or power. If you want a compact laptop on the road - take a top ultrabook, for example Huawei MateBook X Pro 13.9 with i7-8565, MX250 and weighing one and a half kilograms. If you want a powerful mobile workstation, then you need to take something like EUROCOM Tornado F7SE with the ability to put Xeon, Quadro, 128Gb of memory and three more M2 SSDs and two 2.5-inch drives and weighs only 4 kg. But I do not advise Asus, because. Asus likes to save on everything even in top-end laptops (for example, instead of a normal M.2 NVMe SSD, they put a SATA port and a SATA SSD into it).
