Usually, clicks are a short circuit protection operation: the unit tries to turn on, detects an excess of the output current, and goes into restart with a timeout.
A short circuit happens in a low-voltage and high-voltage circuit. With a low-voltage, everything is elementary - we check the serviceability of the rectifier diode and the smoothing capacitor, we replace the dead one. Well, you can also check the cable and the connector on it, as well as visually inspect about the presence of foreign objects. But in the high-voltage part it is much more difficult - here you need to deal with the algorithm of the controller, etc., it is better to entrust all this to professionals.

The most common problems are:
1. the fuse burned out (then it would not click - it would just be an ominous silence)
2. one of the electrolytic capacitors in the filter circuit
swelled
similar.
