The agony of choosing a laptop (l460 vs e470). What to choose?

I choose a laptop for remote work.
Requirements - fhd resolution, the ability to add RAM up to at least 16 GB, the battery is more than 4 hours, the weight is less than 2 kg.
I stumbled upon a new lenovo e470 model: https://on.pleer.ru/product_393827_Lenovo_ThinkPad... The
price is a little confusing - because it is absolutely similar, but with an i3-6006u processor and without an OS it costs 16 thousand cheaper.
Tell me, is it worth overpaying for i5? Or even pay attention to the L-series?
The work is not related to graphics, video or multi-threaded computing. But, of course, I want more powerful iron.

It depends very much on the goals, the number of software that you will run, virtual machines, etc.
IMHO, yes. Here i7 - overkill
L - the series is not bad, SSD should be taken right away, or the HDD will slow down everything.
even on 14 inches you can’t open anything except for a couple of consoles, a monitor is simply necessary
