You don't have to litter the user in the mailbox for nothing.
The maximum that should be done is to send a one-time link (without a footer, full of pictures, design, etc., just a LINK), after clicking on which, the user will be already logged in to the site.
This is a kind of indicator that the box is valid and is under the control of the user.
