Text-overflow not working for tables in Opera 11.60?
In general, I unexpectedly discovered that the CSS property text-overflow: ellipsis in Opera 11.60 does not work in table cells. While in all major browsers everything works fine. Opera itself understands the property, if it is applied to a div, then everything works, but not with td.
Plus, padding doesn't work correctly either, there is no 10px indent on the right in the cell (unlike other browsers).
How to overcome this, with minimal shamanism, without adding divs to each cell?
I posted a test page on which table cells and divs with the same style and demonstrates a bug.

Is this by any chance the CORE-37077 patch that is included in the changelog of Opera 12?
Have you found a workaround by any chance? (faced the same problem)
