Temperature regime and load on the electrical network?

Hello!
There is a home Linux server based on an old Dell Inpirion 6400 without a battery.
I recently noticed that the graphics of the temperature regime of the hard drive and the processor have areas of instability and violently jumping temperatures (from 37 to 47 in relatively short sections).

The time of this behavior coincides with the time when the air conditioner connected to the adjacent outlet is working.
It is not clear how a running air conditioner affects the operation of a laptop and why this affects the temperature.

well, it seems to me that the air is getting colder and the beech turns off the fans, and that's why the temperature jumps.

I think it's a food problem. Those. the air conditioner is a powerful thing, when you turn it on / off, there is a “splash” of the load on the line. But then either your power supply skips, or something in the beech itself.
As an option, power the beech while the air conditioner is running from the battery and compare the sensations (if there is no Akum, then just try through the filter). If there are no surges, the air conditioner is to blame. You can try to power the power supply through a good surge protector.

In general, you can assume a lot - for example, with incl. the voltage on the line sags, because of this, the beech power supply will slightly change the output voltage. The temperature sensor depends on the stability of the voltage, respectively, when it changes, it shows a little differently (especially at the time of surges).
It is also interesting to look at the CPU load graph at this time. And it would be nice to poke with an oscil into the network and into the supply chains of the beech.

Isn't the air conditioner portable? Maybe his warm "exhaust" gets on the laptop?
