Tell me, pls, with the choice of CMS for a bunch of blogs + forum

Approximately such (as directions) sets of functionality are needed, such as
LiveStreet + mod for forums (is there such a thing?)
XenForo + blogging mod (is there such, seen implementations)
phpBB + blogging mod (is there a good one?)

I named these options because at least somehow then I know them. I use phpBB heavily on one old project, where blogs added to it on their own. Just general authorization. Not everything was done very well, so I'm looking for some more “boxed” and rounded solutions.

LS blogs love having a "karma" system...

What would you choose if you were me? What other options are there?
