Tell me about Asterisk GUI + Asterisk

I immediately apologize for the amateurish questions, but I could not find the answer in Google.

Asterisk freshly installed + asterisk gui works, mailed the docks, decided to just create some user for the test to register ATCOM 620. It does not register, with any user / pass combinations. Created a user in iax.conf - registers without problems.

Another point, users created in the GUI are displayed in System Status, but not created through iax.conf. Conversely, in the console, iax2 show peers shows from iax.conf, but the one created in the GUI does not.

Tell me the direction for my thoughts, so far I only have the idea that the GUI does not write files to the config, but to some kind of database, and the server does not know about it, maybe I did not turn it on.

When they started deploying asterisk in their office, they also tried to screw it in initially. But they constantly stepped on such a rake, which is described above.
I highly recommend setting everything up manually.
System optimization and its integration with AD were performed using perl scripts. It turned out to be a very flexible and transparent system.

I will support the previous speaker ...
when I deployed asterisk for review, I first started to twist different GUIs, FreePBX, etc,
but literally after a couple of hours I began to collect rakes of various sizes, since for an inexperienced user it is even more difficult to figure out all these things ... I
advise you to set it up once for an approximate configuration, understand what is needed and how ...
and then think in the direction of visualization, automation and other things, asterisk is very flexible and there is a good chance that, out of inexperience, you will be able to collapse it into a node through the GUI that cannot be deployed

First, everything is with configs, only then gui and all kinds of analytics.

You read an Elastix book without crying, you install Elastix with FreePBX. It works like clockwork, then you study /etc/asterisk/extensions.conf
, /etc/asterisk/sip.conf, iax.conf
Change via gui and see what changes in the configs and why
