System for monitoring the conversion of a visitor into a site user

Interested in a ready-made solution in order to monitor - where most of the visitors come to the site, who then register and become users of the site. Preferably implemented in PHP, but not required.
It is assumed that such a system will keep track of visitors for quite a long time, because. far from always the visitor registers during the first visit.
It would be nice to track ALL of his referrals from where he enters the site before he becomes a user.
And later, also monitor where the user comes from to the site, because. he can log in already after “walking” around the site, when the information about the referral link will be replaced by an internal link.
Interested in all solutions, both local systems running on the same server, and external services such as Google Analytics (GA).

UPD . For example, goals in GA cannot do everything that I wrote about, if only because GA does not have access to the user database and cannot monitor individual users in any way.
Those. GA knows nothing (and should not know) about the personal data of users: their ID and the amounts they spent. So an external service for such monitoring is most likely not suitable. Well, or I just don’t know yet how to do it all with the help of the same GA, so I’m asking about it here.
I would be very grateful to someone who could explain how, for example, using GA to trace where they came from and registered, and also from where the 20% of the most active users (not visitors!) who paid the most money for a certain period, come to the site.

UPD2 I just answered below and realized that the answer describes the essence of the question in the best possible way:
Search queries and referral links of ALL visitors are monitored by GA - and all this information can be easily obtained.
My question is more specific - how to get the same information, but for a specific group of site users?

I don't know much about this, but I think these things are easily tracked through Google Analytics.

There are goals in all systems to choose from: LiveInternet, Yandex Metrica, Google Analytics and many others.

I join the topic is very relevant. By simply setting goals and conversion in GA, we get only vague concepts. X users came from Google Y came from direct links. And for what requests they came, from what links from other sites.
At least write your own system.

GA has the ability to transfer user (that is, your) data, mark users. And then filter traffic by these markers. In metrics, you can probably do something similar. In general, dig the dock in this direction or look in google, I think you will find examples.

Found an interesting solution for GA.
Let's say your store has determined that this visitor is in the top 20% of active shoppers. Then let your store engine add this line to the GA code:
pageTracker._setVar(”top_20_users”);
Now you can view all GA reports specifically for this category of users (where they came from, keywords, geography, etc.).

>>> GA has "User Data" and a bunch of variables that allow you to "tag" the audience by its activity and so on. The amount of purchases also successfully considers. Hire a good specialist to help you set up - GA is really almost limitless in settings and possibilities. It will be cheaper than writing your own system.
