Synaptics driver for Windows 10 won't install, how to fix?

I tried to install both points of the drivers for win 10 from their site, but the synaptics section did not appear in the control panel-> mouse. What to do?
Win 10 SL, x64, laptop.

I recently also had some dumb glitch with Synaptics firewood, during installation they refused to install at all. I had to disassemble the driver into compound files, and digging inside I already managed to install it with the help of "some kind of mother" ..... I don't remember especially the details.
