Steam - What are the ways to track purchases?

I am well versed in Google analytics.
But then a client appeared who released the game on Steam. All we can do in the steam itself is put the GA tracking code on the page of the game itself.
We need to launch a couple of marketing campaigns on Facebook - but how to track transactions is not clear.
Maybe someone will have valuable advice from personal experience - how to track transactions on Steam?

I don’t know about Steam, I don’t understand either. But here you can track the conversion from social networks through Google Analytics on the tabs: - Traffic source - Social functions - Conversions

Hey! Or maybe screenshots of the Steam interface or something, where it offers to place the code.
Plus, in the steam help, I would read how you can track purchases - maybe there are some callbacks.
