SSD in Mac Book Pro Retina 13"?

I'm going to buy a mac book pro retina 13. The SSD drive is alarming. How durable are they in MB pro retina?

There is also an external hard drive, I will merge any “media” there.

SSD should attract, not alarm. Modern SSDs are quite durable.

Ummm… And what answer do you expect, to be honest? Asking about a laptop from the 13th year of release in the middle of the year (when, by the way, did they start releasing it?) And expect to be shown the statistics? No, seriously!

I am repairing Apple, but the service is post-warranty, so the statistics are not yet objective: I have never seen a “dead” ssd from retina (ssds are the same in 13 "and 15"), but at the same time Air 12 years old with a faulty ssd brought already 5 pieces and friends services were also brought. SSD were a complete corpse, a dead controller, most often in a short circuit. But the ssd in the air is 12 years old and the retina is different, although they are compatible (it differs in shape and execution, but the format is the same)

I've had an MBP 15 Retina and a 512 GB SSD from Samsung for almost a year now, still alive and well. I haven't tested it, but subjectively the performance of the disk hasn't dropped. I do the same as you listed.
PS And of course, do not be lazy to make backups using Time Machine. I made a copy before going to bed and you sleep peacefully. :)

I think it's too early to talk about reliability, these laptops have been owned by owners for less than a year.

MacBook ME662 with 256GB screw works fine.
There are no complaints.

So SSD is much more reliable than HDD, since they have a complete absence of moving parts, and hence high mechanical resistance follows, and SSD surpasses HDD in the operating temperature range, which is what they are afraid of, on the contrary!

But do not overestimate the reliability of ssd. The biggest minus in them is that they usually die immediately, like flash drives without prerequisites. And getting information from a dead ssd is much more difficult and very expensive. Therefore, it is necessary to take care of copies of important information in advance.
