How to speed up HTPC boot from SSD?
We have an HTPC based on Pentium G620. OS Win7 HP 32bit, installed on Plextor PX-64M3 SSD (latest firmware at the moment, 1.04; connected to the SATA 6Gb/s connector on the motherboard). The OS boot time to the desktop is the same as from a regular hard drive (subjectively). Is there any way to speed up the download? And if so, in what way?

I can give exact figures only in the evening - the computer is at home, I'm at work. I'll freeze, I'll unsubscribe.
just don’t turn it off, but take it to sleep, both my computer and laptop wake up from sleep in two seconds
, although it takes no more than 10 seconds to load from the ssd
Wait for the release of 8ki and switch to it, it boots from the SSD in 15 seconds. I'm sitting on the RP version myself. Although there are also torrents. Chet could not find the link, there was a very detailed article on optimizing the download speed of 7ki on Habré, look.
Could the bios be the culprit? I never stitched it, which was when I bought it in the month of May, and that one remained. I didn't even look at the version.
In short - I smoked out one of the culprits of the long load. It turned out to be PowerDVD, which was solemnly destroyed for this, and KM Player was installed instead (by the way, of all Arcsift TMT5, PowerDVD, MPC, KMPlayer I tried - the latter was the only one who picked up the Imon PAD remote control).
