Splitting a pdf file into parts when scanning with twain driver?

Good day.
Let's implement a scanning module for our Portal that runs on the twain driver.
According to the conditions of the task, it is necessary to scan several files into one pdf, and the size of the resulting file should not exceed a certain specified value W. That is, when scanning a large document consisting of several dozen pages, the scanning module must split the resulting pdf file into several parts , each size W (as a multi-volume archive).
By means of twain, it turns out to form multi-page pdfs, but with the division into volumes, it can’t think of anything yet. Are there such built-in functions in twain?
