Spamming on hetzner, how to answer them correctly so that they are not blocked?

A notification came that a complaint was received on such and such a domain, allegedly for Spamvertizing.

We do not spam the specified site anywhere, we do not send it anywhere, and we use another server to verify the email.

Nevertheless, the complaint came, it is necessary to respond, they took 48 hours for this case. Knowing many friends and how they block servers on the first complaint without understanding, please tell me:

1) Did I understand correctly that Spamvertizing is a mailing from a server and this requires an installed and configured mailer?

2) How to answer them correctly so that they do not block the server on which the admin did not touch the mailer.

If your friends could not find the source, this does not mean that it does not exist.
1) Is a mailer installed and configured for this?

No. You could well have been thrown a scripter who can send letters without an MTA.
2) How to answer them correctly so that they do not block the server on which the admin did not touch the mailer.

The main thing here is not to remain silent, but to get in touch with support. It is also not profitable for them to block all clients in a row.
If you do not need mail, then you can block outgoing connections on 25 (or 465 up to the heap) port in the firewall and write about it. But it is better to look where the mailing could come from and eliminate the cause. Complaints for absolutely no reason, if they happen, it is very rare.

There was a similar situation. I immediately wrote something like: Thanks for the info, I'll watch what's there and how. After that, I stopped the server, it was only for development, and found a bunch of scripts that were uploaded through WordPress sites :)
There were several similar situations and it was always not unreasonable. But there was no business with production sites, only a dev server.
neol business speaks about ports.

As far as I know the term spamvertizing is aggressive spam advertising, not necessarily through the mail.
Let's say I have a forum, and bots put ads for some site there - I can go and complain to the hoster / registrar of this site about spamvertizing.
1 write to them that you have not done anything like that.
2 specify that the complaint is about actions from your ip/server or a complaint to you because this site is hosted by you
3 if the complaint is about actions from your server - ask for details, say that you will look for a problem
4 how to look for malware is a separate topic, but usually thoughtful reading list of processes and sometimes analysis of outgoing traffic allow you to find malware.
