Software RAID1 from a combat server?

Good day!
There is one combat server, the loss of which does not bode well .
Server without virtualization and without hardware (even fake) raid
Windows server 16 spins on
SSD
in dynamic and on a standard screw raid to make a mirror?
I have never done anything like this and I don’t know what problems can arise
Naturally, I googled it, but articles and videos on how people do it on their home PC do not give me faith that in my case everything will go like clockwork

The load on the CPU will increase slightly and reliability will increase.
This is a good idea, better than a single-disk on a critical server.
Converting to a dynamic disk is not scary.

And you don't seem to have a dump. Either "now" and most likely everything will work out, or later, but with more problems. Go ahead and may God give you faith.
ps
I had a server on NT4 Server. This is how mirroring by means of the OS worked. There were no problems

To start;
1. Take a disk image (acronix for example)
It's not clear on what hardware the server is running?
Household PC or the right piece of iron (HP and the rest or the rest and HP)

RAID 1 is good, hardware RAID is even better. If you have a simple household computer with a server OS as a server, then I would recommend at least some kind of RAID controller, I used PROMISE about 10 years ago, I don’t remember the model, I remember that it was not expensive.
If the server is important, then RAID will not save you from a crooked update that will kill the data, a virus that will kill the data, from a "fat finger" that will not press and kill the data. In general - backup!
