So-dimm ddr3 and dd3l, which one to choose?

But the laptop now costs 4GB of RAM, I want to put another 8GB. Searching the net, I found 8 GB of its frequency on ddr3 and the same size with the same frequency but ddr3l, but with a difference of + 2k rubles. As I understand it, the difference is only in the lower consumption of RAM, but on some forums I read that the bars can be poorly synchronized with each other (the manufacturer and the frequency are the same). Can anyone come across such a choice? What can you advise?

@Spetros

You need to read the description of your laptop and put exactly the type of memory as indicated in it.
Or look at the type of installed memory with the utility and add exactly the same one.
SO-DIMM DDR3 and DDR3 L are different memory with different operating voltage.
