Similar to Teamviewer VPN?
you need to connect two computers via the Internet in the same way as it is done through Teamviewer VPN.
At the same time, there is its own linux server on the Internet, which can be used as an intermediate link in this chain.
Are there any ways to set up a VPN connection between two computers this way?

Well, since you have your own server, the easiest way is to set up any VPN tunnel to your liking. (OpenVPN, Strongswan (IPSec))
And allow client-client connections.
I don’t know how it is now, but before - Hamachi was, installed, launched, pressed a couple of buttons and entered a couple of characters and voila.
And look right, VPN. You need traffic encryption then you need l2tp + ipsec.
You need a minimum of crap - pptp.
Well, or if you are a pervert - ssh tunnel.
