Should I now take the "old" MB Pro 13 Retina?

Good afternoon!
I wanted to take the MB Pro Retina 13 at the New Year's sale in America.
But I missed black friday (there were ME864 models at a price of 1099), and today (cyber monday) there is nothing particularly interesting ...
So, does it make sense to take the old MD212 model with 8GB RAM for 1,169.99 or donate money and buy a new ME864 with 4GB RAM for 1,229.00?
As I understand it, their main difference is the presence of a new Haswell processor?
A laptop is needed for everyday tasks, as well as photo editing and sometimes video.

You should not take it with 4 GB, because the memory cannot be expanded later.

Memory can be delivered to the firmware, but I advise you to take a new one because of Haswell
