Should I name an AD domain like an external domain?
There are 2 branches of the organization, how to name ActiveDirectory, provided that these should be different domains (directories) and, accordingly, 2 independent servers?
There is an idea to name it by analogy with the external domain of the site, but there is an opinion that AD cannot be named like company.ua/company.ru/etc, since this is fraught with problems. Who faced such a problem?

Real DNS domain: company.ru/company.com
AD domain: ad.company.ru/ad.company.com
"Popular opinion" is due to the fact that earlier, when the Internet was not so common in companies (in the early 2000s), companies did not have their own sites yet with their own corp. name (and usually there were pages like isp-server.ru/~mycompany), and access to the Internet was through a proxy server via dial-up, the admins did not take a steam bath and called their domains company.ru. When the site company.ru appeared, then there was a problem with the external and internal DNS, because. completely two different DNS servers were responsible for this zone, for external it is one DNS, for internal it is another. It turns out such a Split-DNS, and everything would be fine, but your domain controller is responsible for the zone inside the company.ru company, it responds to this name, it seems that the site can be registered with an alias to www.company.ru (and tell everyone in the company, what would be opened only in this way), but suddenly someone before you brought a www computer into the domain, i.e. there are already hemorrhoids www.company.ru - busy.
That's why add before corp. a prefix that you understand, and don't worry, examples:
ad.company.ru, inside.company.ru, local.company.ru etc...
I inherited a site with a name like firma.com and a local domain f1rma.com - it works.
dc1.mosk.gadstvo.ru
dc2.nsib.gadstvo.ru
site www.gadstvo.ru
although a bit ... presumptuous to use only one domain controller in a branch
