Should I make a website without registration?
Good day to all!
I have a question. I have an idea for a website: the theme is education, the target audience is students. I would like to make a modern public site for certain tasks, without really bothering with design elements. All I plan to use are the bootstrap libraries (navigation menu, wizards) and possibly jquery to implement the UI without unnecessary bells and whistles. This is my first project that I would like to publish on the web, and I want to practice more in developing logic (there are already some developments) than in drawing beautiful pictures (logo, website header, etc.). Yes, and especially does not lie to this soul, to be honest. Actually, that's why the question is: will the design of the standard bootstrap templates on the main page be enough for the user? Something along the lines of:
Plus a few medium-sized buttons for the main sections on the main page, duplicating the menu. It's just that I don't really see the point in this, because. this is not a commercial project and I am not going to take money from someone for using the site and place ads. But I would like the site to at least not create a frightening look.
Thank you for your opinion.

will do. the first version of one of my sites was also purely on bootstrap, and nothing, people used it.
You can take Materialize.css. In my opinion, it looks more modern. Or look at other UI frameworks.
Bootstrap was just invented for the described task - a tolerable interface without a designer and coder with low labor costs.
Previously, programmers made websites on tables, now on bootstrap, if the site solves the problem of the audience or there is unique content, then they will use it.
In the future, it is not a problem to stretch the design.
bootstrap is a ready-made, quite beautiful layout and design, and not its absence, sufficient for most tasks
For me, as a user, what is more important is not the design and all sorts of goodies, but the page loading speed, as well as the ease of use of the site (it is often not entirely obvious what and where to click to perform certain actions). A bunch of graphics and scripts may look spectacular, but in terms of usability, as a rule, it is much worse. Ready-made templates especially suffer from this - dozens of additional scripts can be connected to them. I currently use only Bootstrap and jQuery from scripts, and only when absolutely necessary I connect something additional (for example, a plugin for selecting a date).
Another option is to buy a ready-made website template: themeforest.net/category/site-templates ($5-20)
