Should I install Windows 7?

Hello dear friends, please tell me if it is worth installing Windows 7 if the PC parameters are as follows:
Video card: NVIDIA GeForce FX 128MB
RAM: 1GB
Processor: AMD Sempron 1.6GHz
Just tell me if it is worth it or not, and how it will work if I install it ! Thank you in advance!

What does worth or not worth? It's up to you to decide which axis to put.
Seven, eight, or Linux.
It will work fine, how else can it work?

There is not enough memory, but if you turn off all the visual design and gadgets (it will look like Windows 98), then you can run Win7.
It is optimal to add at least another gigabyte of memory and you can install Win7 if the computer will be used for light tasks, such as surfing the Internet, listening to music, reading, working with text documents.

Why seven? what tasks to perform?
It will start, but if a machine is being made for the Internet and Skype for parents, it's better to install some kind of XP.

I don’t have enough RAM for office applications + a browser, at least 2GB of RAM is needed.
What do you need a computer for? If there is no need for the seven, for example, put hp.

Unless, of course, used only for single-tab browsing...

I don't think it's necessary. At work, we found out that the minimum configuration for Win 7 is Celeron D with 2GB of RAM, of course still Kaspersky, but even without it, normal Internet surfing is unlikely to work.
