Why do some MSI video cards have such an unusual shape of the cooler blades?

Hello.
Please tell me why some video cards on coolers have such a strange shape of the blades?
The screenshot on the left shows that the blades go as if in pairs - one is ordinary and the second is like a spoon.
Is it a marriage or is there some kind of superiority over the usual form?
