The laptop does not turn on (at all :)). Need help from knowledgeable people?
Good afternoon!
There is a friend's laptop, according to his assurances - the screen flickered, the laptop "beeped" and he turned it off, and then the laptop got to me. I connect to the network --> I press Power --> it does not start, I pull out the battery, everything is the same.
I looked closely at the battery - it dripped (I made a conclusion based on the smell and viscosity of the liquid in the laptop). He untwisted, rubbed where he could (saw).
Now the trouble is this:
1. I take the PSU, turn it on (the indicator on the PSU lights up)
2. I plug the PSU into the laptop and as a result:
- the indicator on the PSU starts blinking (slowly and naturally)
- crackles are heard from the

Gentlemen - perhaps you can tell how to deal with this disease and whether there are ways to resuscitate the patient without going to the appropriate places. Thank you very much in advance!

1. I take the PSU, turn it on (the indicator on the PSU lights up)Typically, such an indication (flashing) signals an overload of the PSU.
2. I plug the PSU into the laptop and as a result:
- the indicator on the PSU starts blinking (slowly and naturally)
- crackles are heard from the laptopGiven the previous paragraph, most likely something is short.
Well, it's a strange question.
Maybe the battery leaked and shorted something on the board. Maybe some capacitors are screwed up. How can you fix physical problems over the Internet?
The problem is physical. Until you look, no one will tell you. Take it to the service.
The same bullshit happened. The closure was in the plug, cut it off and screwed a new one with the help of "blue electrical tape". It's been fine for over a month.
Pros - the cable from the PSU has lengthened by 40cm.
Haven't noticed any cons yet.
