Should I choose Python Kivy or Kotlin?

Hello! It is necessary to write a simple application, whose task is, roughly speaking, to visualize some tables and graphs. And since all the backing is written in python, I decided to use kivy, but then I heard from a friend that my solution was not rational and kotlin was better. The application is written, but then the redesign began, and I can’t decide what to do. Rewrite already on the familiar Kivy, or hit the study of Kotlin, because it seems to be better. Do you think a small application will benefit a lot if it is written in Kotlin? Thank you.

Why are you asking us here? We haven't seen your application yet. We do not know your qualifications. And we do not know how much you can trust the advice of your friend. On a good note, if he gave you advice, then most likely he substantiated it - why this decision is not rational (in general? Or for your particular case?). These justifications of his can already be the subject of discussion - how professional, competent they are and how much they correspond to the trends in the modern "application" of the industry.
In the meantime, an abstract application, an abstract developer, abstract conditions, abstract conclusions - there is nothing to discuss.
