Should I change my monitor from AH-IPS 2560*1080 to VA 3440*1440?
Hello.
The 1st monitor was FHD 16:9 TN from BenQ (e-sports, etc.). He served for many years, there were no complaints about the quality of the picture.
Half a year ago I sold it and bought LG 34UC89G, G-Sync, 144Hz, 21:9 - there were no competitors with such specifications for 40k.
Recently, from the comments under XIaomi Surface Dispaly, I heard about the AOC CU34G2X / BK monica - according to rumors, their matrices are the same, and the characteristics too.
Both cost under 40k, only I give preference to AOC, not a newcomer to the market.
Pros of the transition:
-More resolution -More bending
Cons:
-Matrix is
not IPS, but VA
-No G-Sync
Here are the cons and do not allow you to decide exactly.
There has never been a VA, "experts" on the internet spit on it when compared with IPS.
I also don’t know how it will play without G-Sync. Previously, it didn’t matter on FHD, but now with such a resolution, I don’t think it will work to score on technology.
I'd love to hear your opinions, thanks.
PS - LG and AOC specifications
