Should I buy an RTX 2060 graphics card for the i5-6400?

I work at a computer at least 10 hours a day, like many of you. I recently ran into a problem that my fullhd monitor strains my eyes after working for a long time.
I decided to buy brand new 4k monitors (2pcs), but it turned out that 4k monitors work in most cases only with DisplayPort.
But I don't have a graphics card and no DP slots.
I decided to buy a new video card and at the same time start playing PC as soon as I have time. I found a video card
on the Internet , fell in love with it at first sight, and the reviews are good and the review is good. Of course, in 4k on ultras it will not pull, in games I will shift the plate to 2k resolution. But how will this video card work with my old generation processor?

Why on such a percentage of 2060 if you still play in 2K? 1060 for 6GB is enough for the eyes and even cheaper by 10K.

I have an RTX 2060 on an i5-4700 with a 31.5 monitor
. No apparent problems.
But you need to select a monitor very seriously, when working with text, some blur the fonts.
